Sarasota Farmer’s Market

Sarasota, Florida!! What can I say, we have the opportunity to live in a near paradise, where there is plenty to do all year round. Saturday’s visit took us to the Sarasota Farmer’s Market, downtown Sarasota. This event is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from 7am - 1pm. It’s been a main attraction in the area since 1979 (with the exception of 2020 which had everything shut down for a few months). The earlier you get there the easier it will be to find a parking space. I arrived around 7am and had no trouble finding a place on one of the side streets. Getting there early also allowed me the chance to speak with some of the vendors and get their take on the market. Most of them have been their for over a decade and love being out there meeting new people and connecting with current customers.
